Bio

In 1991, Bill Outcault and Lilla LoCurto began collaborating, focusing on the tenuous nature of existence through digital remapping and reconfiguration of the human body. They have received a variety of grants and awards including a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2013. They have worked with numerous scientists throughout the years and currently are working with the Max Planck Institute in Tubingen, Germany using a 4D scanner to research body shapes in motion as a collaboration in art, medicine, psychology and computer vision.
