Podcast Production Process

From your mind to those of your listeners

a

Defining Podcast Goals

Stage 1

What expertise do you have? Draw from your own experience to determine the topic for your podcast channel. Your experiences are unique to you and invaluable to others.

a

Strategize

Stage 2

Creative Disturbance podcasts are published in a listenable 20-30 minute interview format. All you need is an idea, your mind, and a guest speaker (or several). They can cover any subject related to the arts and sciences.

a

Production

Stage 3

Start by writing a list of topics and encourage your guest speaker to do the same. Subjects where both speakers overlap should be the subject matter for the podcast episode. This process only takes a few minutes and can be seen as brainstorming.

Record and Edit

Stage 4

You can use OBS or Audacity to record your podcast, or reach out to our internal team below to help facilitate the process. Editing should include trimming the podcast to the length specified above and removal of any politically sensitive or sexually explicit discussion. Editing can also include equalization and minimization of background noise, though you can contact our internal team below for assistance!

a

Podcast Release

Stage 5

All speakers will be required to fill out release forms and provide a description for the podcast episode as well as personal short-form bios. Once all the information has been collected, the episode will be published by our team and shared with the world.
