Fatemeh Hassanipour is the Assistant Professor for the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas. Her research area is heat transfer and Fluid mechanics with applications in Energy Management, Health and Bioengineering (modeling and simulation of biomechanical systems). Her research investigations include, but are not limited to methods involving fluid-structure interaction, bio-mimicking systems, particulate flow, porous media and phase change materials. Her research lab activities have three components of Computational Fluid Dynamics, Experimentation and Mathematical Modeling.
