Muneyuki MATSUO is a PhD candidate at the University of Tokyo, Komaba (JPN). He focuses on a vesicle-based artificial life through the constructive approach with organic synthesis. In the previous work, they have constructed the vesicle-based protocell in which the compartment is self-reproductive and the information molecule is self-replicative. Moreover, he is investigating a Darwin-evolution system in the vesicle-based protocell and is creating life as it could be.
