Bio

Oliver Kreylos is a researcher with, and lead computer scientist for, the UC Davis W.M. Keck Center for Active Visualization in the Earth Sciences (KeckCAVES, http://www.keckcaves.org). He received a BS and MSc in Computer Science from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany, in 1994 and 1998, respectively, and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis in 2003. Dr. Kreylos primary research interests are scientific visualization, virtual reality, human-computer interaction, and tele-presence and tele-collaboration (http://idav.ucdavis.edu/~okreylos/ResDev).
