Bio

I am a graduate student and teaching assistant in the History of Ideas-Philosophy program at UTD and a Marvin and Kathleen Stone Fellow through UTD’s Center for Values in Medicine, Science and Technology. My interests are in the ethical issues surrounding medicalization of women’s bodies, reproductive technologies, the history of women in science, and the intersection of science and art. In addition, I create soft sculptures that explore mathematical concepts such as hyperbolic geometry.
